Two Things…

First of all, security update for WordPress -> 2.8.2

Apparently there were some naughty holes left open here and there. It happens.. glad the team can move so quickly to get the fixes out! Imagine a proprietary company, like, say Microsoft… or heck, even Apple… it takes them way too long (in this internet world) to get fixes out.

Also, thing number two… I finally crossed back over the 1,000,000 mark this weekend!! gosh, it’s been hard. I used to be well under 500,000, like somerwhere around 420,000 (you may remember these from last year) …Then earlier this year I did something foolish and wrecked my site!! I was all frustrated and shut ‘er down for a couple of months whilst being too busy with work and life to do anything else.

Finally I re-installed from scratch, salvaged what I could from all my old content, slapped it back together, and started watching traffic again. Ouch, Alexa had kicked me back to over 2,000,000   which isn’t surprising. I figure it could have been worse.

After making some concerted effort to post articles and participate in discussions again, here we are (as of today):
