Gladiatorial Conditioning

I need to get fit. But I don’t want to be *just* fit, I want to be feared! So I will train to a point where, one day, I will be able to fulfill this regimen in one go, with no rest between.  This is the ‘graduation’ test, so to speak.

  • 25 pull-ups
  • 50 deadlifts at 135 pounds
  • 50 push-ups
  • 50 box jumps with a 24-inch box
  • 50 “floor wipers” (a core and shoulders exercise at 135 pounds)
  • 50 “clean and press” at 36 pounds (a weight-lifting exercise)
  • 25 more pull-ups
  • 300 Total Reps

I will plot my course, then from day one I will log my day:

  • food
  • excersise
  • health stat (weight, BP, fat measure, etc)
  • mood assessment

with photos and perhaps video to track my progress.

Stay tuned, I’m looking at starting within the next week or two. I will be laughably pathetic to start, but I suspect within a week or two I shoud be able to complete a circuit without barfing, perhaps even within a reasonable time-limit.
