Can someone tell me if this is how it’s supposed to look in the Wordpress 2.7 admin interface, but I see serif fonts for section titles, and sans serif for the menu items.I HATE this, and have been waiting patiently for someone to ‘fix’ this before they issue 2.7 Release.
Every other header/title/label is set to “Lucida Grande”,”Bitstream Vera Sans”,Verdana,Arial,sans-serif, but for some reason the sidebar menu titles are Georgia,”Times New Roman”,”Bitstream Charter”,Times, serif…,
This is very disconcerting. I wasn’t very happy that they chose such blandly stylish icons for the sections, but this font issue really irks me
¬† I hope someone can tell me its ust a glitch on my system…?

It’s not a glitch. The section headers use a different font than the actual menu items so there is clear differentiation between them.
..but then these same differentiators should be pushed through the rest of the interfacing, like the Dashboard widget titles, Post/Page edit screens titles, etc. Right now it looks like a mistake
. I have been tracking SVN updates for a few weeks, and at one point, The menu was all San Serif, then one day it all looked wonky, and I assumed it was due to the beginning of the revamp. Eventually the sub menus went back to sans serif, but the section headers stayed as serif.
has no one else wondered about this?
Thanks for the reply, btw!
