Starting Fresh for Wordpress 2.7

Wordpress 2.7 is being promoted as a release, now, and so for the occasion I freshed my install from scratch. I backed up my media and database, deleted everything off the server, re-uploaded a fresh defaul copy, installed my new favorite theme (Carrington) and some of my basic plug-ins, and voila!

It took me all of an hour, and you can barely see a difference. I have some finicking to do here and there, and to make sure all my media is linking properly (already saw one post that seems to have lost it’s picture) but overall it was painless.

Of course this is a default Carrington configuration, but so was my previous setup. I will hopefully soon dig into the framework and apply some uniqueness to the theme, but for now it’s all good.
